Cell phone power management system if troubleshooting

  3.Measure the charging current and voltage with FNIRSI FNAC-28:After connecting the cell phone and the charger,detect the current and voltage of the charging process through the FNIRSI FNAC-28 device.Ensure that the current and voltage output from the charger are in accordance with the regulations,and check whether the current is stable.

  4.Monitor Ripple and Noise:Utilize the FNIRSI FNAC-28's Ripple Monitoring feature to detect abnormal fluctuations(ripple)during the charging process,which may indicate the presence of unstable signals in the charger or power supply circuitry,affecting charging efficiency and battery health.

  5.Check the battery and power management system:Use the device or software to assess the health of the battery,for example,check if the battery health management function can confirm if the battery is aged or damaged.In addition,analyze the charging curve of the battery to ensure that the current varies as expected,e.g.,the current should be gradually reduced;perform a battery capacity test to ensure that the battery is able to complete the charging and discharging process as expected.

  6.Diagnose and replace parts(if necessary):If the battery voltage is abnormal or the battery is in bad condition,consider replacing the battery.Also,if the power management chip or charging IC is faulty,it may need to be replaced.Finally,check the power circuitry on the motherboard to make sure there is no damage,shorts,or open circuits.
